Gaia’s Ember
$1,199.00
The Story:
Gaia’s Ember is a tribute to the earth, featuring rich, mahogany brown textures inspired by ancient tree bark and scorched earth. We believe beauty is found in the unrefined; the raw, textured surface and the spontaneous gold-toned streaks are a celebration of nature’s lovely inconsistencies. Meticulously hand-painted using premium acrylic paints and sealed with a high-quality varnish, the piece possesses a tactile, weathered elegance. It brings the grounding strength of the natural world into any modern interior.
Authentication:
Includes a Certificate of Authenticity, hand-signed by the artist.
M TERRA Brand Statement: The Art of Imperfection:
“At M TERRA, we don’t strive for machine-made precision. We celebrate the wobble of the hand, the variation of the brush, and the unique soul of the kiln. Our ‘One of a Kind’ collection is dedicated to the belief that imperfection is the highest form of beauty, making every piece a singular treasure that can never be replicated.”

Care Guide
Care Guide
Your M Terra piece has been carefully handcrafted and finished to be enjoyed for years to come. Each decorative piece is unique, hand-painted, and sealed with a protective finish.
Proper care will help preserve the colour, texture, and integrity of your piece so it can be enjoyed for many years.
Hand-Painted Clay Vases
Placement
To protect the structure and painted finish of ceramic pieces:
- Display vases on stable, level surfaces to minimise the risk of tipping or accidental impact.
- Avoid placing vases in direct sunlight for prolonged periods, as this may affect painted finishes over time.
- Keep away from excessive heat sources which may cause stress to ceramic materials.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, decorative vases are intended primarily for display purposes.
Cleaning
- Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth.
- If necessary, a slightly damp cloth may be used for light surface cleaning.
- Dry immediately after wiping.
Do not:
- Submerge the vase in water
- Place in a dishwasher
- Use chemical cleaners, abrasives, or solvents
Handling
Ceramic pieces should be handled carefully:
- Support the vase securely when moving it
- Use both hands when lifting larger pieces
- Avoid dropping or knocking against hard surfaces
Protective Finishes
Many M Terra decorative pieces are sealed with a protective varnish or finish designed to help reduce minor surface wear and preserve colour vibrancy.
While protective finishes provide an added layer of protection, they do not make ceramics completely resistant to scratching, impact, or environmental conditions.
Storage
If you need to store your decorative piece:
- Wrap carefully in soft cloth, tissue, or protective padding
- Store in a stable, dry location to prevent impact damage
Longevity
With appropriate care and handling, your M Terra decorative piece can maintain its beauty, finish, and vibrancy for many years.
Each item is a unique handcrafted creation, and slight variations or natural changes over time are part of the character of handmade art.
Care Disclaimer
Improper handling, cleaning, or environmental exposure may result in damage to decorative pieces.
M Terra cannot be responsible for damage that occurs after delivery due to misuse, accidental impact, improper care, or unsuitable display conditions.
This guide is provided to assist customers in maintaining their purchase but does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Authenticity
Artwork Authenticity & One-of-a-Kind Statement
At M Terra, we celebrate originality, craftsmanship, and artistic expression. Many of the pieces offered through our store are one-of-a-kind creations, carefully designed and crafted by artists and artisans.
Authenticity of Artwork
Each artwork and decorative piece sold by M Terra is created as an original work. Once sold, these pieces are generally not reproduced or restocked, making each purchase a unique addition to your home or collection.
Where applicable, artworks may include details regarding the artist, materials used, or the creative inspiration behind the piece.
Natural and Artistic Variations
Many M Terra products are handmade or hand-finished. As a result, variations may occur in:
- Colour tones and shading
- Brushwork or surface texture
- Glaze finishes on ceramic pieces
- Natural characteristics of materials such as timber, clay, or stone
These variations are inherent to the artistic process and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Such variations should not be considered defects or faults.
Product Photography
We make every effort to present our products as accurately as possible. However, due to differences in:
- screen displays
- lighting conditions during photography
- natural material characteristics
the colours and finishes of the final product may vary slightly from those shown on our website.
Framing and Presentation
Some artworks displayed on our website may include digitally applied frames or styling examples to demonstrate how the artwork may appear when framed or displayed.
Actual frames, finishes, and materials may vary slightly depending on the framing process and supplier availability.
Ownership of Original Pieces
Once an original piece has been sold, M Terra does not guarantee the availability of identical or similar pieces in the future. Customers are encouraged to secure artwork they love while it is available.
